A Project Journey: The Final Production Process (Part 3)

The client loves the design and the team is ready to celebrate ... but not so fast! The project still needs to be produced, which is the last step in the journey. Now that we have our roadmap, strategic process and creative execution, it’s time for all of the details. Attention to these critical details is crucial to delivering a solid final product.

Some of the specifics to be considered during this phase:

  • File type and size required for either print or digital process
  • Grammar and spelling
  • Approval process
  • Production estimates
  • Vendor selection
  • Deadline and schedule
  • Logistics of shipping or delivery

A smart design group includes the production team in the collaboration process as early as possible. Meticulous planning can affect the project from the beginning. The production team thinks of the project from the end result backward and their input can have a huge impact on the development of the project. Their knowledge and expertise in final art production, spelling and grammar, print and digital processes and vendor relationships are valuable from the initial concept to the final stages of any project. It is of utmost importance that the files released for final production are complete, well organized and error-free. Our goal is to deliver highly professional final files to make any production process flow smoothly.

This concludes our 3-part project journey. If you would like more information on how Graphica can engage your team with the journey process, we would love to hear from you.
