Trade Show Marketing (Part 1)

You’re in deep. We’ve all been there. You’re panicked, a million thoughts are racing through your head and you need (another) triple-shot latte just to make it through the rest of your day. To face this upcoming monster trade show, you’re going to need to be on your “A” game and that means having a plan.

In this series, we’re going to help you create that plan, as well as share some real-world examples and actionable ideas that you can implement at your next trade show.

So, let’s step back and take a look at the big picture. You can break this down into three phases:

  1. Pre-show
  2. At the show
  3. Post-show

Here is a brief review of each phase and key considerations of each:

Pre-show

  • Create your initial checklist
  • Consider your strategy
  • Design the experience

At the show

  • Engage your audience
  • Think beyond the booth
  • Keep it fun and keep it free

Post-show

  • Follow up
  • Add value
  • Be patiently persistent

Next week we’ll take a deeper dive into the pre-show phase in Part 2 of this 5-Part series.

Stay tuned!
