WALGREENS PROMOTES WOMEN’S HEALTH WITH ANSWERS FROM GRAPHICA

DAYTON, Ohio – America’s largest drugstore chain, Walgreens, enlisted the expertise of Graphica this past spring in promoting women’s health and wellness issues.

Walgreens, established over a century ago, not only provides Americans consumer goods and pharmaceuticals, but has, in recent decades, established themselves as a provider of health and wellness services that include in-store care clinics, immunizations and the Walk with Walgreens Web site promoting preventative health efforts.

Graphica was charged with developing a campaign that would encourage female consumers to pursue Walgreens as a trusted resource for health and wellness.

Working with the established thematic, “Answers begin here,” Graphica developed in-store signage targeting female shoppers with lifestyle photos, as well as seasonal and category-specific icons that highlighted hot button issues, like dental hygiene and good nutrition. A modular architecture allowed Walgreens to accommodate promotional efforts with a multitude of industry vendors and leverage other marketing efforts already in place.

This is not the first time the two companies have collaborated. Walgreens has pursued Graphica in the past to aid with other promotional efforts, including the successful launch of their 24/7 call-in and automated prescription refill program and multiple coupon mailers.
