Some projects are child’s play.
When Toys “R” Us called on Graphica to contemporize and refresh their Barnyard Beats toy identity, that was a play date we didn’t want to miss. Who could resist those funny, down-on-the-farm, animal-shaped, musical toys!
We started with the logo to put a playful “face” on the brand, using illustrated musical notes, singing characters and bouncy type. A packaging format was developed following established Toys “R” Us guidelines. We incorporated bright graduated tones and a barnyard scene was illustrated as a backdrop inside the package, to showcase the toys.
This new identity commands attention and really sings on the shelf.
